Getting Crafty

I’m sorry – I know Christmas isn’t quite around the corner, but the school fair is at the end of November, which means that we are already starting to think about the Craft Stall.  If you’ve never seen the PSA Craft stall, it is a joint effort by many parents and friends of the school, and sells handmade Christmas decorations, gifts as well as beautiful preserves, biscuits and sweets.

If you think you might like to get involved, then I will be at the AfterSchool club (in the Key Stage 1 playground) at 9am on Friday morning (27th). It will just be an informal chat to discuss ideas and find out what skills we have available.   I know that it is short notice (space for meetings in school is at a premium at the moment!), but I hope that some of you will be able to make it.  If you can’t make it, have contributed in the past, or already have some idea what you would like to make, then please just come and say hello at school (I pick up from 1 Fireflies and 4 Dali), send an email (click here), or add a comment below.  Everyone is welcome, even if you perhaps want to learn how to do something new, help to man the stall or contribute some ideas.

See below for some more photos of last year's craft stall to inspire you, or click here for more ideas.

I hope to see you on Friday morning.
