Your PSA Needs You!

The Christ Church School Parent Staff Association raises thousands of pounds for the school every year, through events such as the Christmas and Summer fairs, the film shows, discos and bingo nights. This is organised by a committee of around 12 people with the help of many, many other parents throughout the school.

There are now two or three vacancies on the committee, and we would love to hear from any mums and dads that might be interested in joining us - we meet once a month to plan events, and then try and help out at as many events as we can (although of course this depends on each person's family and work commitments).

The money raised in the past has paid for things like new library shelving, books and equipment, and activities such as the mobile planetarium, and enabling the children to watch chicks hatching from their eggs. It also goes towards building projects, such as refurbishing school toilets or improving the play areas.

If you would like to talk to someone about this, or perhaps join us for our next meeting to see what it is all about, then please email us here, or have a word with one of the committee around school.

If you are not able to join the committee, we always need extra pairs of hands at the various events and are happy to welcome volunteers!
