The school has a new library!

Many thanks to the PSA for funding our Parent SEN library. We have a vast array of books which cover all kinds of topics relating to children, parenting and school. Some books are for parents and carers and others are written for children.

A list of the books we have for short term loan can be found here and will be permanently available using the tab above. Topics such as Autism, Dyslexia, friendship issues, bereavement and cooking for children with allergies can be accessed easily from the hallway by the main entrance.

If you have other suggestions of topics you would like to find out our about please let the PSA know. Many thanks to the PSA and those who have helped to raise funds for this valuable resource, we know you will find it useful.

Lucy McMullan, Assistant Head Teacher, SENCO and Religious Education Coordinator

Huge thanks to the PSA for funding this amazing resource. Irrespective of whether your child has a special need or not, this new SEN library will no doubt prove invaluable to every single parent at Christ Church School.
Having access to a library with titles covering every aspect of children's behaviour and every conceivable situation a child could find his or her self in is something not many schools are able to offer. I sincerely wish we'd had recommended books on Aspergers at our fingertips when our son was diagnosed 4 years ago.
